i don't get it.

There is no motivation for the dealer to even send anything to Ford about your rear set up. Dealers get paid and make money from warranty work. The front diff replacement is not even a HUGE job for them. They should just do the repair, and get paid.

It is like they are looking for reasons to not do the work. Anything else you may have not told us?

Unless these guys got busted before fixing stuff they should not have fixed. Something is missing.

is it a different rate customer pay vs factory pay? if so...that explains it. They figure it is a big enough job to make pissing off a customer who has aftermarket stuff worth while.

When I had some 'warranty' repairs on my Raptor, the dealer claimed over a certain dollar amount required Ford approval prior to the repair which delayed my repairs as well. I was able to call Ford and escalate the claim to speed up the process since the dealer made -0- effort to help in that regard.

not the case here and I wish the OP luck but
Once again
Threads like these and my own personal experiences with Ford made me a believer once the factory warranty is done to never extend it

I wish there was more to it. Only modification in the front is the fox 3.0’s. I get that it’s a big Job and needs approval but it has now been 3 weeks and nothing has happened. That is pretty damn ridiculous!

yeah I had though about extended warranty but after this there’s no way in hell I’ll be buying an extended warranty. It also will have a huge impact on whether or not I choose to buy another Ford after the raptor which is sad because I love this truck and every Ford I’ve had before it.

You think I should pursue legal action? Like buyback or just to put pressure on them?
