I think the admins on this site probably believe most people here can make up their own minds when something smells like shit. No need to filter all the information that comes through here.

Put on your big boy pants or go to the Z.

I am not talking about what the admins believe members should or should not do.

I am talking about the fact that a leading admin on this site says, "I saw a link that A.I.I.Racing posted in the chat box and I thought it should be posted for everyone to read.
http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/the...ium=socialflow"

Why did he think everyone should read this shit? For its misinformation? ****** grammar? POS style?

If it was to stir up the shit, it works well.

** Edited to add: Reactionary article gets a reactionary response from me. I'm surprised this was even reposted here. Makes me wonder what the administrators of this site are doing. Why post an article that is misinformed and entirely skewed against Outlaw? Someone explain this to a supporting member?

You could have written an informative article that would discuss the haves/havenots of the Raptor without such an incendiary article attached.

I don't care for this part of your post at all. What are we doing? Good question. Can you tell me what we (administrators) did to warrant your comments?

This is a FORD RAPTOR FORUM. The url isn't just a clever name we came up with. Unless a topic or post is in gross disregard for our rules, we don't hide or censor anything. The article posted is a *************. I already said that. But, it pertains to the Raptor (this is a Raptor forum) and contains direct language and quotes from this very (ford raptor) forum.

We (ford raptor forum and its "administrators") cannot endorse or take any responsibility for what an article on Jalopnik says. What we can do, is laugh at what a ************* it is, and inform people who may have otherwise believed the content of the article to be true. With out this (ford raptor) forum, I'm sure there would be plenty of people out there who aren't informed or knowledgeable enough to disregard the lies.

Take your anger out on the author of the article. Not me or anyone else. I believe the phrase "don't shoot the messenger" works well here. Comments and opinions on this forum, much like the real world, aren't always about ponies and rainbows. We're here to sift through the ******** and come out the other side smelling like roses.

I first saw this article when it was still on Oppo before it got linked on the main Jalopnik site and before anybody on FRF had linked it. I thought, "man, I should post this on FRF!". Then I read it, and thought "well, that will start some shit, maybe I shouldn't".

Glad I didn't post it, I don't have a flame suit lol.

Ok, I don't like talking to someone like this when I have yet to meet them in real life and I'm sure you're a pretty nice guy . I hope you don't take this personally. But would you please shut the **** up? You've never been on any of these runs.

The organizers of these runs go to pain staking lengths to organize runs and they are the perfect learning opportunity. How else should people learn? Go drive in circles at Ocotillo Wells? That's not a bad spot to get your feet wet. But the truth is you can't learn or get the experience necessary without actually going on a "run". It's the responsibility of the driver to take it easy as they develop their skills.

I know for a fact all these runs have safety meetings where drivers are explicitly told to drive within their limits and to take it easy. It's up to the individual to take that advice from there.

And as someone who organizes runs, your comments are beyond annoying. I've spent thousands of dollars on fuel and damage while prerunning. It would be much easier (less responsible) to just plot a route and go. However, I feel great personal responsibility to mitigate risk if I'm going to lead a group of people into the middle of nowhere but there's only so much I can do. However, I don't have any responsibility if someone decides to push it and something goes wrong for them.

Furthermore, it would be much easier and less headache to keep these runs private. Despite what you may think, it's not all fun and games taking out people who have very little offroad experience. It's also rewarding seeing people's faces after finally being able to use their Raptor as it was designed.

Your comments and those like yours, make me (and I suspect others) want to keep these runs private and not deal with this ********.

BTW, do you do anything besides complain?

Fine with me that you posted it. It allows those who actually were part of the Outlaw run shed some light on the B.S.

Careful, you'll be getting a PM from BrokeBackmtnDan, talking about your mom, and some BS....I know because I have called him out on his BS posting and worthless value to anything in life, except, as you pointed out, complain and start shit.
