Well, I decided to take a financial and YouTube risk and had a Flowmaster 40 Series muffler installed instead of purchasing the Corsa Exteme. I know it’s a night and day comparison but it’s a risk I took after watching a few hours of exhaust videos.
Facts, Flowmaster rumbles nice at 1300-1900 RPM going through the first 3 gears. Once up to speed, she tames down and is manageable. Under load the drone comes back. At 1800-2000 rpm between 65-75mph, you will get a suttle drone that’s harmonic and you will definitely know the muffler is there.
Here is where we part ways. Wide open throttle you don’t get the 6.2 rumble, it’s more like a jet engine / woosh / metallic sound that just isn’t for me.
So, I ordered the Corsa Exteme. LOL
I will let this welded setup/plug and play go for $200. DM if interested.
