On my truck everything sits under the tonneu cover.

Mostly banking on the out of sight-out of mind theory. When really, anyone with a pocket knife could cut the cover open.

My grandpa always said..."That'll keep an honest thief out!"

Do you guys worry about getting spare or other stuff stolen from the bed of your truck at night?

What are you securing it all with?

Along with a NRA sticker on the back window.

I have a fiberglass cover from ARE but even then I still lock everything up with locking cables from Home Depot.
You can get the combinations ones or the pad lock ones.
I have 4 for everything.

Kinda like a backup for the backup for the backup, and so on. Lol

Pretty much. If they want anything bad enough, they're going to take it. Doesn't matter how it's secured/locked. I just figure on the best bet being out of sight.

I too will be packing heat, but I can't cover the truck from the room while I'm sleeping.

I have an open rack w/ no cover, so I secure my spares with a cable lock. Yes they can cut it, but at least its not just list a grab and go

You might be correct Carl, upon closer inspection it looks like it says steath on the front of the slide and the WC logo on the back.
