The One and Only 2013 Order status thread

Maybe as a matter of SOP, No checks before at least 6 weeks of time has elapsed since order, with the exception of those that have a VIN?

Except blood often gives us our VIN first and some are getting them with a week or two lately. I'm resisting calling SVT or asking blood but it's hard when I've seen several with dates the same as mine or later with VINs and build dates already!

Some of the new folks to this thread (guys who just recently ordered) never saw a post from Blood 3 months ago. In this post, Blood states he tries to keep order checks under 50 a day as Ford may pull his access if he is checking too many orders.

I ordered in July and it was delivered in December. During my wait I asked Blood 3x. I just called SVT every Friday once I saw that special orders were getting pulled. And when you call SVT, they are super cool about checking orders.

Checking your order every other day does NOT make it come quicker. It will come when it comes.

My sales guy called me today to see how i was holding up as we haven’t talked munch since December. I told him I've been calling SVT at least once a week to check the status. SVT has been telling me to call my dealership so they can speak to their rep seeing its taking a little longer than expected to pull my order.

I've been putting it off to call my sales guy seeing I thought he wouldn't really say much about contacting their rep but since my sales guy called me I figured I'd let him know my concern and what SVT said. Sales guy said he'd check with their rep and get back to me.

3 Hours later my sales guy calls me and says my order should be pulled week of Feb 18th and I'd get a VIN around then according to his rep.

Can't wait.....

I'm wondering if the faster build times have to do with less orders right now. If this board is any sign, we seemed to have slowed considerably the past few weeks. Maybe it's just me but there is quite a few less people on here lately. I'll take that as a good sign for those of us with orders in. Did we get the initial rush for 2013s in the fall and now there's a lull?

You figure there was a big backlog of people who order during the summer months, before they even started building the 13's.. so that would account for some of the 'slowing'.

...and order is in with priority of 10. Dealer went ahead and put the order into the system on the 17th. Silver SuperCrew with 801A and the front camera.

Just makes me wonder. I'd love to see the numbers then and now. Certainly faster now.
