Now we're talkin, it's a beast all right.

Just dripping with sarcasm. Love it.

You're so right. I looked up an old video of that guy in a Jen 1 and he had 3 more woo haha's, so clearly the Jen 1 is much more of a beast.

I love all the people saying that buying a truck for the exhaust note is stupid. That's an over-generalization. The exhaust note is part of the complete package. Especially the difference between a V6 and a V8. You're not fixing that with an exhaust mod. If you're going to drop 60-70k on a truck why would you accept any aspect you're not fond of? That doesn't make sense.

Jennifer shall be defended at all costs! :ROFLJest:

The same could be said for people that bought Raptors with 5.4L engines. You bought a performance truck without a performance engine so you didn't get the complete package either.

Another new TFL video with the Raptor in it. They talk about the Raptor first and have a camera/mic on the exhaust at about 1:50 into the video. They are throwing fuel on sound debate especially when they start the TRX right after.

Maybe your sarcasm detector needs re-calibration, because I was being honest. That New motor is badass, exhaust note being the best it can be. I'd def own a next gen raptor, if I could justify it. I'm too happy with my old raptor to fall in love again.

Ah my bad. Locker room talk you know.

Seriously though. My apologies. Calibration done.

That truck is absolutely getting up and moving. Everyone would've preferred a V8 note, even me, but that truck looks great. Even the FLT guys saying wish it had a V8, why....for sound. . I don't think it sounds that bad, but I'll take the performance or alleged performance. Hey if I dont absolutely love it, my old raptor is still at the dealership. I'll just buy it back or get a superduty. But I think once people actually start driving the truck a lot of opinions will change about buying one.

The exhaust sound from inside the cab seems significantly deeper than from the outside.

It for sure is, which is why I think you heard him say "sounds good from in here". I don't think that was just a random comment. But I also enjoyed watching him grab on to that console for dear life as well

Edit: because most likely they are pumping some sound in thru speakers. They do it in the GT350 too. If any vehicle doesn't need augmented sound, it's the GT350

I hope they aren't piping sound thru the speakers. I know Porsche does this as some of their engines have become so quiet owners are complaining about having to watch the tach instead of listen for shift points.

It should be noted -that as a gopro owner with several different mic attachments and a bit of experience, all exhaust sounds WAY throatier and more rumbly on the gopro than it does in real life. A bit of a bummer because I think the truck sounds nice in the vid, but I doubt it will be that throaty. That said, I dont care.. the truck's gonna be great and you guys whining about v8 sounds are either babies or just needlessly trying to defend your older v8 raptor.
