Why would the Raptor get a special tank size? Did it ever have a special tank size? It will get whatever tank size in the 2015 F150 and up.

They're always just estimations. But you're correct, C&D estimations put it at 15/21. But seems rather reasonable and probably very close to true. Also, tank size will be what's available on the 2015+ models. 26 gal with 36 gal most likely as an option.

1st gen you had to get the supercrew if you wanted the 36 gallon tank. I don't necessarily want to have to buy the longer truck just to get my extra 10gal.

Also as a performance truck I wouldn't put it past Ford to keep it at 26. But really as a prerunner/baja it should have the big tank.

Hope this is the case, or simply 36gal standard. And those figures would be incredible too, over 500/700 miles of range in a raptor would be excellent.

Currently on the Ford configurator sight the only truck that can't have the 36gal extended range tank is the 122" wheelbase platform. Hoping that means the 133" Raptor will be eligible.
