Just a matter of extending the harness to reach, so not too much work I guess. Cant 100% say the brake assy wouldn't require some dash frame trimming on that side either though.

My thought was if i did need something reachable in an emergency, figured the brake was more important to have close. I'll likley never use it, but the right side was wasted space anyway

What does the trailer brake controller even do? I know it electronically sends % of braking to the rear trailer brakes, but why is it a weird slide spring thing and not a +/- button?

Here's a side by side comparison of the auxiliary switches and the trailer brake controller. It would definitely take more "hacking" to get the trailer brake controller in the right side nook that what Sitdown did to get the additional aux switches to fit.

kawie95 - The TBC has both the +/- buttons and a lever.

I read a post recently that had a novel use for the brake controller. Someone mentioned you could slide it without a trailer attached to flash your brakes lights without brake checking someone and risking them hitting you. I suppose that would be nicer than hitting my rear facing lights.
