1- get duratracs before heading north
2- stock nav is awful. I have run the stock nav and a garmin at the same time and the stock nav always takes me on some crazy ass long route.

X2 on that made my trip to Havoc horrible!

I used to live in Boise and have traveled around Idaho/Oregon a lot in the winter time. I've seen some big storms come through and some of those passes are nasty along I84 from Boise to Pendleton if the weather moves in. Black ice is especially bad on deadman's pass in the early AM.
