What a bunch of crooks. Advertising like that must be illegal, you can't lie about msrp?? Ford would have a fit if they found out. Isn't there a regulation board down there to govern this BS.
MSRP is “Manufacturer SUGGESTED Retail Price” dealership can sell the truck for whatever they want. $20k under sticker or $20k over.

Total joke. Ford doesn’t want to get involved with dealer sales. The only vehicles I heard recently to any type of involvement is the GT and the Mach E. The Lightning may be watched for as well. Ford had a lot riding on these EV’s.

MSRP from Ford is the MSRP, any extra costs the dealer adds to that MSRP should be broken out separately? And not piled on top suggesting that the MSRP from Ford is $117,000 when it is actually much lower? All questions because I am not knowledgeable enough to know the answers. Thanks.

You are exactly right. Dealer is well within their rights to add whatever they want to the MSRP. They should not inflate the MSRP as that is deceptive and passing the blame from their ownership to Ford.

Koons has been pulling shady crap for many years.
The owner's house is 'around the corner' from me, but on the water...pretty amazing property. Dude must get a lot of takers on those sorts of prices. Those ADMs have paid for one of the nicest stretches of beach on the Severn River.

Saw this on FB last night... lol... showing false MSRP and then a reduction. The window sticker was available on this site... $82k msrp. Koons Woodbridge Ford. "WOW Price" is right, lol.
Almost $36k ADM. SMH.....

Yeah so my GF called that dealer yesterday just to ask questions and see what kind of BS they gave. Here is a brief summary of how it went:

Her: What's so special about this truck that makes it so expensive?
Sales guy: Oh it's one of a kind from Ford, it has 37" tires and a technology package
Her: different from the 37/tech package from Ford's site? Because I've tried building one with the same specs but I end up far lower than your listed MSRP of $125k.
Sales guy: This one is fully loaded.
Her: Well can you please elaborate on the special package this has that's not available from Ford?
Sales guy: Umm, my managers are in a meeting right now, can I call you back after i'm able to ask them?
Her: Sure.

....Few minutes later he calls her back, sounding scared to talk at this point....
Sales guy: Hey ma'am, so...uhh....I....I uhhh talked to my manager and uhhh that's our markup.
Her: So i'm not really saving $7k then, you're just lying on the site?
Sales guy: .....
Her: Hello?
Sales guy: Yes ma'am i'm told that is our markup on these trucks right now.
Her: Is this all dealers or just you?
Sales guy: (gets quieter when he says this) I think it's only us.
Her: ok, thank you

When I first started exploring the Raptor, I went to Koons as they are on my way to the office. Sitting down with the salesperson, I asked him "Do you want a customer or just a sale?" It took him about 10 secs of thinking deeply and hesitantly he said "customer." I said "Are you sure?" He replied: "of course I want to make the sale first."

3 mins later I was walking out of the door; no sale, no customer, no relations to build on.

What a deal!

I will never forget when I was shopping for Gen 2s in CA back in 2018... A sales guy told me "look man these typically go for 30 over... I am willing to do it for 15 so I am actually SAVING you money"

Hopped in my truck and did a burnout leaving the parking lot...
Same here, I just drove to a small ghost town in Northern Cal and drove it back. Paid MSRP and got 1500 over on my trade in. I was able to get 41000 vs. 39500 in So Cal.
