This has been covered before but here is a quick vid of the Dee Zee tailgate assist in action for the newer guys who haven't seen one work. Took about 10 minutes to instal including the vid. Super Super cool mod for the money. Everyone should have this!

I can't get mine to stay together. Dee Zee's customer service has been good about sending me replacement parts, but I've been through two whole units now and they break after one offroad trip. Would love to get in the business of making a quality ez lift like this.

What is breaking? I keep having my nutsert get loose but I just keep tightening it a little at a time. I figure eventually it'll get tight enough to not loosen any more?

I tried it on my phone and it works. Just picked one up on Amizon for $29 with a Prime membership. Model # DZ43200 for those who are looking.

Pretty cool. I've thought about it a few times but something else always comes up that I want more. Also is it just me or is the tailgate on our trucks pretty light compared to other ones? I know my GMC had a way heavier one.
