Tail gate step - really necessary?

When I ordered my Raptor, I had only three (3) options and the tailgate step was one of them. The Hood Graphic and the Molten Orange color I really wanted, but the tailgate step was a must.

The bed extendeder is handy to have, and if you do not need it.. it is just 2 bolts to remove it..

bed extender is great too, keep it connected and flip it back into the bed and makes a nice storage area right up against the tailgate. great for groceries and such so they dont slide to the back of the bed.
