Not trying to hijack this thread but I've kept mine on all 40k miles. After reading up on it more I want to take it off, is this easy to do with basic tools?
I'm sure you can find some sway bar quic disconnects somewhere.
It's pretty much cake. The bolts that go through the lower control arms are 18mm and you'll have to use an open end wrench and not a socket, because the bolt spins too, so you have to put a smaller wrench on the end of it so you can loosen it up.
The ones that attach the crossbar are all 15mm and you can pop them off with a deep well socket really fast.
If you have the tools it's a 30 min job, tops.
