Just looked at this thread and yes the LT's are a PIA. Was going to have some put on but the folks(in Houston I do not like them screwed me on a programmer tune) who have done several sets on the Raptor talked me out of it while I was there plus it costs way more than it was worth to me. Headers always come loose and when you drive off road there is a good chance you will be doing the install again lol....

There is a reason it costs as much as it does. They Are A Pain for the little HP they provide.. Sound good but the Dyno does not lie. Was disappointed but got over it.

Did you end up taking this to get it installed? Damnit I don't wanna be the guy to make this install vid. It would be horrendous.

Oh God I wish I would have read this before I started down this road.. Im installing the LT headers right now and they are a major PITA to install. Not to mention Ford did not make it easy to get your manifolds and the studs out. or the starter. But I will get them on and try and give some better insight for the install so y'all can learn from my mistakes.

Hahaha. I ended up having them installed by a performance shop. Took them about a day and a half with all the right tools. I'm sure I'd still be at it if I'd tried to do them myself! They were definitely nasty to get to.

I finally got them on only took three day's. But I would not sugguest doing it yourself. It was a major pain in the rear, but they do sound good now.

Mine were finished yesterday, made more difficult by having fox 3.0 and bypasses up front, took Rock and Roll Off Road about a day and a half of swearing and busted knuckles, but they look great, sound great and with the tune accelerate great.

I will say that the turn downs on the borla put alot of noise into the cab.

I have a pending write up for this. I wouldn't tell anyone not to do it themselves. I am not a mechanical genius or anywhere close to it and I had my troubles but ultimately I'd do it again.
