Just wanted to say I saw a shipping truck carrying a new 2012 Red Scab with at least side graphics headed west on I-10 yesterday 2/7. Somebody in SoCal who ordered a 2012 Red Scab should be getting their Raptor no later than tomorrow. LUCKY!! :Jedi:

Ive seen two 2012's so far, and I wasn't set out to find one/just happened.

#1--A white base no option 2012 Screw (I didnt like at all, looked literally like a work truck unless staring straight at the front end).

#2--For about two seconds driving 70mph going the other way on fwy yesterday I saw a 2012 Red scab with Side Graph (looked great!) loaded on the very top front of the truck aka so I could see all of it. It was riding proud! Haha. Race Red looked good and not as Orange as I thought BUT YOU MUST HAVE SIDE AND HOOD GRAPH ON RED OR ITS TWO MUCH RED/LOOKS ORANGE. Probably my 2nd Fav color behind Tux Black.

*The wheels are totally different. I think better overall. The old model wheels were cool but new r better.

PS-One of my local SoCal dealers has a loaded 2010 Scab on the lot for basically 50K (price is over $49,900 fyi). Thats one reason I didnt buy in Cal BUT it also says Scabs hold their value. 2012 models even more with the new wheels, blue trim, front camera, AC seats and front torsen...all things that raise the re-sale and lock the value. 2012 Scabs wont start losing sig value until about 2016 pending new models/economy. :)

Lol cracks me up everytime someone says the white raptor looks like a work truck when it completely doesnt at all. I can a tell raptor that is white from a mile away. The black on white is awesome and I think it's the best color personally.

I must have mis spoke. I can cleary tell a Raptor from a base F150 from 2 miles away any color. White screw Raptors without graphics looks like shit. It just did and does imho. Out of all the options you could go for on a Raptor...anyone picking a white screw with no graphics either really loves his lunchbox, hates cars/never washes, and/or bc dude is simply not cool but at least trying. :birgits_tiredcoffee

Bad news for me Quicksand. Dealer called and my truck is still at the rail yard waiting a train car. I feel sorry for the dealer. All they can do is apologize. They have no idea why this has been such a goat show. San Antonio sells more F150's than any other city in the country and mine can't get on a damn train. Ordered 9/1/11 built 1/4/12 moved to rail yard 2/4/12 still sitting there 2/9/12. Unreal!

Wow!!! Spek, Im sorry dude. You shuold actually have your truck BEFORE me based on our order dates.

I got an update from my new saleswoman yesterday and it was an official attachment showing my Raptor was on rail BUT made it to NM! It got toNM in one day via rail from Kansas fyi.

Im not sure if the dealer was able to unlock something to gain an offical paper status view or what but it was the first time I saw it and the first timie dealer presented it. Maybe it was viewable once the Raptor got close to the shipping yard OR I just have a more capable sales person. WHo knows?

Bottom line Spek, your truck should ship by Monday and your dealer should have access to the rail update system. I would ask the dealer to verify he does have rail status access and if so, dealer provide you with the same updates Ford receives from rail....even if daily. This will help the extra wait.

Its one thing to say its gonna be a little longer, its another thing to back track. No pun. But thats why I got upset mainly was bc it kept going backwards.....instead of steady ahead.

Anyway, keep posted. Mine is still scheduled to arrive ONE WEEK FROM TODAY. WE shall see.... :ROFLJest:
