I got to try tow mode this week. Two trips a couple hundred miles with a 34 ft camper. Rocket fast and smooth as butter. Between the Whipple and the suspension upgrades I'm starting to miss my Deisel F350 less and less. Notice how far away the bumps are from the strike plate at rest with the Deaver +3s.
This kit looks cool.
I have a 2010 6.2L raptor that is all stock, had it since they came out. I'm not to hard on it offroad I think my frame is still straight.
But I had a single place Snowomobile deck built to haul my Ski Doo Summit snowmobile. Normally I tow a 6x12' enclosed trailer and can't even tell its back there stock.. but parking that thing at the snowmobile spots is nightmare.
Wondering if I should get this kit for the winter time and run it in the payload mode?
The snowmobile is 450-500 pounds and the deck is about 200 pounds. I know another guy runs a heavier sled with same deck with stock supsension with no problem. But i know thats getting close to its payload limits.
Oh on the website.
1. Whats the Tig Weld option is it aluminum in that case?
2. I don't know anything about the springs listed are they needed why would one change those out.
3. Is drilling holes in that bump stop base thing the only mod? the rest just bolts right on?
Thanks!
The svc adjustable bump stop Tig welded and clear coated!
