Hi Everyone,
So i am struggling here a bit to diagnose the issue that i have with my steering or suspension part, it started happening a month ago. My steering wheel is "moving" a bit on its own basically like small movements of course that follows the wheel direction, like wheels are pulling it on one side or another, its happening on cruising 60mph+, i thought it's an alignment because of the new tires however nope didn't help, took it to the dealer (2 dealers) nothing diagnosed and also one local mechanic that said that bearings are ready to be replaced which i did by myself and still that movement is still there.
I am tempted to start replacing part by part until I figure out what is going on (suspension parts are completely stock) its 2017.\
Also if anyone has that graphs or however it calls blueprint :) of front and rear suspension for gen 2 that i can see which part is which part number that would be great
Any ideas about problem would be appreciated.

Is it Lane Keep assist because you like to ‘color outside the lines’ ? If LKA is not on, then

what wheels / tires / pressure are you running?

suspension is completely stock?

this happens at 60+ on all roads, some roads just a few roads?

39-40 is higher than stock psi and pretty much every other tire out there has a stiffer sidewall. I’d suggest first dropping the cold psi down to about 37F - 35R and work from there. compliance is a factor in the Raptor’s ride quality, on and off road. stiffer tires are going to alter things a bit.

Is the alignment goofy as compared to stock? I get print outs with alignments just in case.

wheels in the profile pic look non stock. are they, and if so, which wheels?

How many miles on (wheels?) tires?

Any recent changes to the truck - last 6 months or so?

Do you hear any knocking sounds when you go over bumps?

Do you get disproportionate steering input when you hit bumps?

I will definitely do alignment just to be sure and drop off the psi .

Mounted and balanced correctly i was there when they were doing it:
Wheels are not stock those are VenomRex VR-602 (17") - Highland Bronze / 2015-2020 (6 months old) 10k miles i would say
Tires are Nitto Ridge Grappler LT315 /70 R17 121Q E2 (month old) (this was happening before with k02s 3k miles on them

No changes

No knocking except my sunroof :)

Yes i do not always but bigger bump trucks does jumps weird sometimes.

Check your tie rod ends. Jack up one of the front corners enough to get the tire off the ground, grab the wheel at 3 and 9 clock and try to move it side to side. Now grab at 12 and 6 o'clock, try to move them in and out. If you get play at 3/9 and none at 12/6 you have bad tie rods, If you get it in both you have bad wheel bearings.

were the KO2’s ever on the VR wheels?

I’m not critiquing you here, but you did say ‘all stock’ previously, but in the world of troubleshooting, you have 2 deviations from stock here. Now we need to determine if they are possible causes / contributors. And, the hardest part about this is that we have to be objective about this. I know, I’ve modded all but 1 vehicle I’ve owned... ok, there was that 77 impala, but pouring oil in at every other fill up is not a mod.

None of us wants to admit that we caused a problem or that our fancy-shmancy mod may be causing an issue. A lot of guys on here put intake kits on, and suffer DTCs for it.

So, chronologically, wheels went on 6 months ago. In the last month we start to see the wandering and some minor bump steer.

Did you have the truck aligned when wheels were installed?
new tires?
both?
neither?

drilling down on the bump issue - jumps weird when the front goes over a bump, or the rear end of the truck? Live axle, leaf sprung rears are a handful over uneven bumps - Try US1 in Alexandria, the manhole covers give the Rap fits. - better with trac bars or a torque arm though.

Do you still have the stock wheels?
