Thanks for the link to that thread. I actually cancelled my order after speaking with the speed shop and reading the thread. I was worried about the extra heat that will be produced but it seems like the radiator that comes stock is sufficient. I do not do much towing and I do not live in the mountains or in extreme heat. I am not sure if the kit comes with a lower temp thermosdat but that is an option if need be. I know from previous mods when in stalling a lower temp thermosdat that the computer should be tuned to accomodate it. Not sure if that is the same case with this setup. We will see. Thank you for your help.

I ONLY see high temps towing up the Rocky Mountains - the worst hills, if I'm kinda getting on it, like 65mph with a trailer weighing probably 7K. Other than that I've never seen anything other than normal heat - even in some more extreme offroading situations.

Whipple stage 2 installed. This is the issue I’m having at first test drive.
I put it in gear and drive runs fine (trans not shifting right) come to a stop put it in park and truck revs to about 2750 holds there a few seconds then revs fall to around 500 hangs there a few seconds then dies
Every time...

I am nit sure why this would happen as I trust Whipple perfected the tune.
I am calling Whipple on Monday. My mechanic thinks is a tune issue and suggested we work with Lund as that is who does all of his mustang tunes with Whipple supercharger installs.
Any advice?

JDM tune is the best for whipple installs, not personal experience, but from reviews and feed back on this forum and others like @MTF

Sounds like a vacuum leak , those O-rings around each intake port on bottom of intake are tricky to keep in place .

Don't use Lund for the Raptor!!! He hates Tuning them anyway.

Work with Whipple, I know it's pain in the ass but you'll get the best results in the end.
JDM will make you make changes like TB and injectors to run their Tune.
It's a good Tune but not as aggressive as the Whipple Tune unless you bring the truck to them and pay.

To be honest it sounds like something isn't hook up right.

What year is your truck?
What mods are on the truck?
Please tell us what options you went with on the stage II.
Throttle Body
Injectors (should be 60 lbs.)
What Gen compressor

I do like JDM, it's just if you go with them from the start it's ok.
But having to swap everything out to work with the Tune their using, cost a bunch of money.
I'm going with the feed back from others that use the JDM Tune,
I never tried theirs because they want me to down grade my upgrades.

the whipple tune BLOWS! You spent this much money already, don’t skimp out on a “best guess email tune” find someone local to you to have it strapped to a dyno and tuned.
Anyways than that is a best guess tune
