Super Cab Handle Between C/Seat & Glass

On my 4 door super cab, there is a "loop type Handle" between and behind the center of the seat and the sliding glass. Does anyone know what that is for? I thought maybe it dropped the headrest down but NG on that?

It is for the LATCH system for car seats.

Yeah I yanked the shit out of that damn loop on my first Raptor for months until I had a kid and my wife explained wtf it was! Who else hates having to admit their old lady knows more about something, especially vehicles, than they do?!!! Granted mine sold cars for a number of years, but it still sucked! Lol
