Hey guys, bought some 1.5” BORA spacers cause I want to keep my OEM beadlocks but want them to fit about like a 0mm offset wheel.

That being said, I bought these under the impression the stock studs were less than 1.5” long and wouldn’t need to be changed/trimmed to run the bolt on BORA 1.5’s. Has anyone run these spacers with stock wheels? Haven’t had a chance to take the wheels off and I’m just curious what I’ll find.

Thanks!

if you had doubts, maybe you could have asked the company before you bought their product. if your don’t know how spacers work check out this pic. you shouldn’t need longer studs.

I know how spacers work and have had numerous sets of bolt-on spacers. If the OEM studs are more than 1.5” long, they will protrude past the mounting surface and contact the face of the wheel. That gap will keep the wheel off of the hub centric ring and will allow vibrations which will eventually ruin the wheels or spacers (or both). It’s not safe.

BORA says they work without cutting/swapping studs. I was just wondering what anyone else had to say.
