I retired from the Air Force in 1999 as MSgt after 21 years in the Air Transportation Career Field. Now I'm a GS Project Manager/Senior Functional Analyst for a Department of Defense Logistics system. I have a great job & I work with great folks throughout all of the Services. Recently Divorced so I just pay alimony toward the house I used to own. My Toys are my Raptor, ATVs, Guns of all sorts, & my Harley Davidson. Hoping to acquire a new home as soon as I can get my name off the off the other mortgage....

I have 2 jobs, Union Longshore man, welder/ fleet mechanic for Maersk/APM terminals, 2nd job father and husband, own 1 home, 2011 raptor,2012 camaro, gave up all the other toys when I became a dad.
Used to race Pro Stock Motorcycles, fabricated and built my own chassis,and motors.

I'll chime in. IT Services Director for big IT company, but worked in Aerospace for a long time in Engineering IT. 1 house, 1 cabin on Table Rock Lake, boat and a couple of other rides (an E38 cause I just love em, and a Yukon GT 4x4). Work 99% from home office, drive Raptor when I do go to the office. Used to ride moto-x and a CB750K-4 banger. Started off-roading in a 1948 CJ2A with a Buick V6. Married to my bride going on 30 years this year. Happy, healthy and love Amber Ale, Jameson's and good (or bad) cigars. 1 kid left at home, after he trots off to college, we'll sell main house and move to the lake for ***** and grins. Bought Mastercraft new in 1990, still goin strong. Lovin life.

And success? I felt I was a success when I married the right woman and had great kids....the rest is just stuff.

Ain't that the F*ing truth. We bought our house in Omaha while Joe was a contractor getting paid W2, fast forward 8 months and we can't re-finance our Pittsburgh home with the same bank because he's a contractor getting paid 1099, more money but exactly the same position!

Finally getting that shit wrapped up another year and a half later this Monday...hopefully.

Yukon is a Mechanical Engineer with an MBA. He specializes in Major Projects at Nuclear Plants and we move to a new project/plant every 2 years or so.

I work whatever decent comes along (I won't steal jobs from those who need them though and tend to be picky), or not..depending on his hours. If he is working outage hours (6*12's) I prefer not to work.
But other than that I have a Business undergrad and an MBA. I tend to gravitate toward finance, mostly accounts receivable, not investing. I do all the taxes and book keeping for us, Quicken is my everyday companion yo!

We recently sold the house in Omaha, still own the one in Pittsburgh and are renting here in Oak Island. The truck is really our major toy. We also have a pop-up camper and a canoe that we enjoy. And we have a quad temporarily living at a friends house for the last 5 years. Nothing fancy, but we really aren't fancy people

Retired warehouse manager,then trucker retired. Got a good buyout from warehouse job,retired at 55, wife is 45 now and an MBA, PHD who works for big pharma and u Maryland. 2012 scab 2013 335I fishing boat. 3 dogs 3 cats lizard, home and a few acres. Life is good.

32 - Married w/ children (6 and 4) just like Al Bundy except I don't sell shoes. I used to work as an operations manager for a telecommunications company, but now I am working land/offshore acquisitions in oil & gas. Trying to gain enough experience in my new industry to get back into project management and finishing up another degree in Int'l Business which I think will help my career in the oil & gas industry moving forward. So terrible to be taking classes again, I don't miss school at all. How people choose to go back to college for a PHD years later is beyond me. So I took a step back position wise to try and move forward career wise. Wife is an MBA grad who works in healthcare finance. We own 2 homes, 1 here in Houston and 1 back up in Missouri from our college years (great rental income).

I just sold my TX-mile project car (TT LSX 94 RX-7)....sold my C6Z06 (built motor, 14.3:1 compression, E85 - 620whp n/a built for juice...never sprayed it) to start that car. So now I am toy-less except for the Raptor that is on order still. Looking at either a GTR or a ZR1 for the next car, but with the new job I will likely get all my ducks in a row before bothering with any other major purchases right now.
