I'm a Staff Sergeant in the Marine Corps and work on F-18 engine & fuel systems. Been at it for 14 years and deployed 4 times in the past 5 years. Its time to stop deploying, stay home with my 3 year old daughter, and buy a home. I've had a bunch of toys in the past but currently have my '12 Raptor, '13 KTM 500 EXC, and '03 YZ450. Really miss my old Ranger. Wish I still had her.

Alright I will bite, here's what Sliver gets to do for a living.

I'm a Naval Officer, Surface Warfare Officer (Nuclear) by trait. I have the privilege of being stationed on the best ship in the fleet, (IMO) USS Jason Dunham where I am tasked as the Fire Control Officer and am being trained up to assume the role as VBSS (Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure) Boarding Officer for our next deployment. I work with some of the nation's hardest working and most dedicated men and women. I truly love waking up and going to work everyday, I have the coolest job in the world in my opinion.


As far as toys go I have one of the most bad ass 2011 Raptors around (IMO again) as well as a 2011 Tahoe Q5i boat which I enjoy but am looking to sell in order to have a down payment on my first home. No wife or kids, hopefully one day but not any time soon for either.

So there you have it. Sliver in a nut shell.

VBSS is fun. Did you go through the school yet?
