I have an 801A on a train coming to me.... October 10th placed the order. Question is if I switch wheels and tires to 37", I was told the bed is different on 801A and can't fit a full size 37" spare, that I'd have to consider placing it in the bed of truck. I'm not about to give up that space in the bed.

I'm asking if anybody has any actual experience with changing their 35" package to 37" and fitting a spare tire under the bed?

Thank you.

You can fit a KO2 37" but thats it as far as I know. They run smaller than the other 37's.

Did you ever test out your theory? I’m in the same situation, with a ‘24 801a and wanting to get 37” Mickey Thompsons and curious to see if one will fit under the truck where my 35” spare was.
You’ll just want to run a strap around the tire to pull it back towards the bumper. There are some convenient holes you can use behind the bumper. I’d recommend a stainless ratchet strap so that they stay fresh no matter what.
