Truck is at dealer today. They called and said they are ordering 3 new door lock mechanisms. Apparently Arkansas dust is lethal for door locks.

Pass. rear on mine does not work now, other 3 seem fine. Looks like I will be tearing it apart as soon as I get time.

I work at a Ford dealership and I have a Raptor customer that I originally sold have the same issues and we replaced the locks and it still happened. I traded him out of his old truck and into a new 2014 and with less than 2k miles on it the problem started to occur all over again. He even covered the little weep holes so dust couldn't get inside. He doesn't take his trucks offroading for fun but he is a land developer and drives through his projects. I work here and don't understand how dirt can hurt an OFF ROAD TRUCK! My tech told me that Ford is looking into the problem now that so many have had the same issue. Good Luck!

Nearly every ARDD participant has had door lock issues following the run. We ran more than 600 miles in extremely dusty conditions and many have discovered that the dust found its way into the door lock mechanisms causing the issues.

Some of us had rocks in them as well. I had to order a replacement since it's unreliable.

Spoke too soon my rear door crapped out again looks like it was a good thing I booked my truck into the dealer next week for the misc crap I need done.
