GEN 2 Sto N Sho License plate modified

I'd like to be able to paint the sto-n-sho mount to match exactly or as close as possible to the skid plate. Does anybody know the paint code?

I thought of doing same thing. Bought Ingot Silver spray paint from here and it is real close per my sample. Have not painted mount yet as need to get etching primer.

Thanks! I ended up painting it already with a kind of a metallic silver, which was fairly close, and you can't really see it plate is mounted, but I'm going to do some more modifications so when I take it off I'll use this paint. thanks for providing the link!

Really bored and slow.....so still working on mine. Got this far.....

Put a hinge on back plate. Facemount 2 backup lights behind plate. A 12 volt actuator wired to lights would tip plate out of the way

Finally done. Did not want the little ring hanging down since I plan to run with plate off most of the time since adding OnX6. So made a little tool that goes on key ring. Also painted bracket Ignot Silver, but it is a little lighter in color than bumper....I think that is because of XPEL on bumper and light reflection. But close enough for something under the truck.

Looks Good! I modified mine to run my plate all the time; I believe it will ride just below my Onx6. Will install it next week, so I will know then!

Like your "key" idea though...time to copy it!

That looks like a good position. What did you end up doing to modify?
