My eyes, my eyes, I can't see!!

Ditch the plate, stand out with a brick red or something along that line.

Wait stand out? I have yet to see a Gen2 on the road in NJ.

Really, NY ought to give you an exception to running license plates because that is one unique truck !

Great idea. I ordered one from CJ as well and have it sitting here waiting on my truck which supposed to be in this week. Guess I'll be making a trip to Ace Hardware.

You should buy Dinoone's (or is it Bullishone? Can't remember) orange HREs to go matchy matchy with that grill.
I saw that thread, they actually would go well...lol

I think the back looks good. The front would be really nice with only the Ford and grille outline done in orange.
I wanted to do that originally, but the nature of plasti-dip need an edge to seal onto and wrap around. The way the ford lettering is, you can't use plasti-dip. Would have to be paint or a wrap. Also want to say this to Aaron also, didn't quote your comment also...

I live in a state that requires front plates like it or not I had to put one on. Like the OP - I picked up the StoNSho front bracket. I considered mounting it off center on the passenger side but after much deliberation - I put it in the center. Install is easy - the entire bracket is all aluminum, seems to be a high quality product - I replaced the included mounting hardware with a quick trip to the local Home Depot for some stainless bolts and nylock nuts and washers. Happy with the results - time will tell how well it stands up.

Comes well packed in a heavy shipping box (ordered from CJParts off eBay):

Contents of the kit:

Few bux for stainless hardware from local Home Depot everything is 1/4 X 3/4 - if you get new hardware you only need 1/4 X 1/2" for the plate bolts:

The front skid plate will have to be dropped but not removed - leave the font bolts really loose and take the long bolts out on the rear of the front skid and you should be able to get your paws in between the skid and bumper to get the hardware (nuts and washers) on.

Finished install - still blocks a little bit of the intercooler - any off-roading I"ll just pull the mount and plate:
