Just got a 4 wheel alignment done after my drivers side coil spring broke on my 17 with 61,000kms on it Has anyone ever heard of these “special performance” (rack and pinion bolts)??
My service advisor told me that the best they can do on the alignment on any F-150 with factory bolts is about 95% alignment that if I wanted it perfect I would need to have these after market bolts installed (for $408 Can out the door installation included - as well as the labor to get it to 100%)
Just curious as I’m thinking of starting a thread on this topic
Thanks in advance
Interesting... did they mention a specific type/item to buy? Would be interested in something like this

Chances are good many of the people in this thread experiencing a pulling sensation on crowned roads have the Torsen diff and are driving in 4A. Put the tuck in 2H and the pulling sensation will magically go away.

This isn't a flaw, it is simply the nature of how the Torsen diff distributes power in asymmetrical environments (ie the sideways slope of a crowned road). This torque steer is simply the side-effect of using an offroad component for daily street driving. Raptors without the Torsen diff don't experience this pulling sensation in 4A.

The torque steer effect in 4A is pronounced enough that within 100 feet of driving I can tell without looking that I left the truck in 4A the last time I had it out.
