Remove the two nuts, raise the engine, and then remove the three bolts. Were you able to get the bolts out already?

If you followed the instructions it should be coming up. Stock manifolds are off? Air box and intake disconnected?

Where are you jacking up at?

Already got the bolts out. Stock manifolds are still on. Air box and intake are disconnected. I am jacking under the oil pan with some wood.

How much lift did you get on the engine? I added more blocks to get some more lift, and have gotten it up probably 1/4". How much do I need?

Lol. Quit wasting time jacking and get the engine out.

I probably got a good 3-4" of lift. The stock manifolds aren't the issue. I actually had to get it up a little higher to get the headers in.

It's lifting your truck so we know it's not the jack.

Retrace your steps over my instructions to see if there's anything you might've missed cuz I'm drawing a blank.

Yeah I ended up having to add some wooden block spacers on the jack to get enough lift on the motor. I'm calling it a night. I got 13/16 of the nuts and studs. 3 more on the bottom of the driver side manifold. Starting bright and early tomorrow. Appreciate the help man.

Good luck man. Mine has been quite the experience thus far...

Did you guys use anything to clean the gaskets, or surface where the gasket mates up to the engine on the engine itself?

I also un bolt the tranny from cross member just in case but the 2 large bolts at the bottom should do it.. Lift the engine from the flat part of the oil pan but use s flat piece of woo to disperse the load.... (Mobile's advice and work rlly well) now unbolt the top 3 and pull the mount out

Any advice on getting the right side header in there? Manifold came out fine but I am getting hung up on the bellhousing.

Honestly it i was stressing the hell out so i bathed the studs on wd40 let it sit for a while and use a 1/4 socket will fit perfectly so you can screw them out and use the exhaust bolts.. (Remember to use high temp anti seize on the bolts) it WILL make it alot easier
