No, new gaskets do NOT come with the headers. They give u RTV. I put the RTV on both sides of the OEM gaskets

Hmmm....would not it be worth a little extra money to purchase new gaskets v. Putting on the old ones...

I know if and when I do LT headers I will use new gaskets...

Mine looked like new almost. If I had more miles on the truck I would have went new. Although I did a lot of Google searching header installs and many people reused gaskets with great success

SW's instructions state you can just use the rtv or use it in conjunction with the factory gasket. Would it be beneficial to use a new one, maybe, would it hurt reusing the old one as long as nothing is wrong with it, probably not.

Same here. I had 5k or so miles on her when I did the headers.

I spoke with SW regarding the air leak at the slip joints. He recommended retorque and using some anti seize if that didn't work.

Hmm. Maybe the anti seize will help. I've cranked down on the clamps as hard as I could. This weekend I'm going to try the gold rtv and the anti seize on the stud with some beer muscles!
