Hey Guys, Sorry for the absents lately, We have had some personnel changes with in our company. My name is Chris and i have been with Stainless works for just at 3 years now. Any questions let me know. Thanks

Hi Chris,

What plans does Stainless Works have to create a drone free "true" dual exhaust system?

I know you guys are about performance and performance comes loud and with drone, but the drone is not for me. I had to get rid of my SW true dual exhaust with x-pipe and put back on the stock exhaust with y-pipe because the drone was so bad.

I have and love the SW headers and high flow cats, which sound pretty good connected to the stock exhaust (without stock resonator, since SW y-pipe replaces) and this configuration eliminated the headache inducing drone.

However, I really miss the true dual exhaust and actively searching for a true dual system without the drone; and don't want a solution requiring welding on and adjusting helmholtz resonators. I know adding resonators and the like impact efficiency, but no drone is a fair trade off for me.

From the various threads I've read on this forum, I would say there are many FRF members who aren't particular fond of the drone normally associated with high performance true dual exhaust and header systems.

I know about Corsa and the other brands, and drone minimizing techniques, and having custom system built by local shops, etc., but really want to hear about what Stainless Works has in the works (no pun intended) to create a no drone, true dual exhaust system. Thanks!
