So your going to need a pretty big trailer, mobile charging station with lift to raise the car to get to the batteries. A generator that does not need to be to big, ie it does not use a lot of amps to charge the batteries, and can charge slower because you wont use the battery pack faster than you can charge it with its mobility...

Exactly....

What I have purposed it two trucks equipped with trailers, scissor lift jacks, and smaller generator..

The plan would be one truck will behind the Tesla and leap frog the stop to allow 6-8 hour charging and set up at next stop. The first truck will be set up and ready for the Tesla to pull up on the trailer.

Once on the trailer it will be positioned over the empty scissor lift. The battery will be removed and lowered. The car will be rolled and positioned above charged battery.

It will be raised and connected to the Tesla.. Double checked and the Tesla will drive off trailer and head off. The first truck crew will secure battery pack and make connections to the battery for charging. Then take up take up chase position behind the Tesla until the next stop. Then continue to next check point.

Since the batteries have a longer charge time, the size of generator can be downsized. Since the Tesla would be limited top speed to preserve battery life. The trucks could drive at a reasonable speed to keep 20-30 minutes ahead of Tesla, refuel and set up..

440, 441 whatever it takes :)

Cool idea. With that generator you could put stadium lights on your Raptor. Does rigid make a stadium light?

does anybody else see the irony in one of the most inefficient vehicles out there running support for what is deemed as an efficient next gen vehicle?? Its just funny to me.

Good on you Greg for getting our truck out there again...

Exactly, I've been giggling about that while reading...
