Who posted this? If it's a certain someone I'm gonna chew their ass for selling me nationals

No shit!

Talk about irony.

Besides, I thought the only reason no one else sold nationals for the raptor was the fact that RPG owned the rights to sell them and no one else.

hey Guys,
NOT Jarrett, NOT Jeff.
MY name is Marc. I am the owner of SVC.
Sorry Jeffy and Jarrett are the Forum Guys. I don't go on here much.

I just hate when people have problems and ALWAYS want to try and fix it..

Some of you know my pedigree with Off Road Racing and some of you know my "relationship" to Ford Raptors....If anyone wants more juicy details, out of respect for my Vendor "friends" i don't spill it online.

Sorry, I will start signing off as Marc going forward..

I do know this :)

RPG had a "exclusive and designed" spring for Raptors which was brought to National Springs. I am WELL aware of relationship there. I personally had the 1st PAIR of Nationals and RPG Bump Kits on my 2011 Raptor.

No shit!

Talk about irony.

Rich, Just to clarify, my HD springs have been great. I've been carrying a good bit of weight through out their time on my truck.

These are today's measurements from the wheel hub center.
PS = 28.5"
DS = 27.5"
3/4 tank of gas
One spare in bed towards PS

Marc / SVC. Your post sounded just like the posts from RPG, but replace d for n.

Sorry Yukon,
didn't want to come off negative at all...
I know RPG/National make a good product but from my personal experience deaver has it figured out. but like i said, The fact that we have options makes for honest and respectable competition.

I can't speak for anyone but myself and all my comments are solely my thoughts and opinions.

I just want everyone to be stoked with good customer service. I pride that with all the guys that I work with....Its kinda our Motto.

"Customer Service and quality parts will earn Customers and friends"

Marc,
Out

My SSD's have gone to shit after 1 year. I was hoping that mine would be different than all the other early adopters since RPG told me they had been reworked.

I never carry any weight in the bed either!

Can some of you guys measure center of hub to bottom of flare on the rears? I'm at 25 1/2" with 3/4 tank of gas. Springs have no arch.

These Nationals suck. What are the opinions on Deavers? Or maybe I should give Jimmy a call...

Went out and measured mine. They sit about half an inch lower at 25 inches. My drivers side some how sits a pinch higher. Must have bent something when my bed hit the back window. National/RPG donkey kick specials doin work!!

madcowranch,
sorry jarrett is not online but what i can tell you is that deaver springs have been on my personal trucks for many many years.Pulling Race Trailers, Pulling 30' boats, Pulling Horse trailers with living space. I never had an issues with sack out or sag...I have a Call into Scott @ Deaver and will get you a response here shortly.

Marc,
Out

...
Bwahahaha. I was thinking the same thing.

OK, Jarrett, so will the Deavers not sack out over time?

I had measurements of the same also....One thing that i did notice when its parked is if the truck was backed in or pulled in forward. We know that when the truck is in reverse, suspension squats down under load which would change the ride heights. Same thing after on a rack or alignment. Suspension settles after time.

Marc, no offense, but this sounds like the same old BS we all heard about nationals a year ago. The more you talk, the more I've rolled my eyes. Once we sac out again, and I've got the feeling we will, we'll be seeking other options, not the just because you said so brand.

Thanks for the reply Marc. So would you consider spring re-arching every couple years normal maintenance for these aftermarket progressive springs?

What differentiates the Deavers? Do they come in SD and HD like the Nationals? If they are less prone to sagging are there any tradeoffs like a stiffer ride than a comparable National?
