I was afraid of the same thing, truck being delayed. I ordered it without it and figured id go with Linex. I have a question is anyone aware of a clear spray in liner that is as durable. Ive seen that duplicolor makes one but I assume it yellows over time and isn't as durable. Id just like to see what's going on between the spray and the bed. and maybe then ill just do the rubber mat and periodically take it out.

100% agree with this. I’ve always used LineX, but got the factory liner on my ‘19. LineX is thicker, more durable and they spray more areas to give better coverage. The factory liner is sprayed over the bed bolts, corner tie downs and right up to the box link plates. When I added the Built Right molle panels, the liner peeled when I pulled the box link plates and corner tie downs; underneath, the paint wasn’t prepped for the liner (3M scuff like LineX does). At the back of the bed, LineX laps over the sides as well as on the tailgate, where the factory liner leaves paint in a high use area, and it gets scratched. The factory liner isn’t any cheaper to install; the only plus is the Ford emblem at the front of the bed. LineX won’t spray over the Ford liner to cover the missed area.

Go LineX and get your wheel wells and skid plate done while you’re at it.

Every truck I’ve ever owned had a factory bed-liner. I work in construction and never had any problems with it. Maybe I just got lucky so far. Anyway, I ordered my 22 with a factory liner again as well. Will be going to Line X for skid plate and wheel wells.

LineX has an installation video on yt. They rough sand the bed before application. The Ford bedliner they just use an adhesion promoter. The factory bed liner is fairly easy to remove while the LineX is extremely difficult. So if you don't mind them sanding down the bed get the LineX.

yeah I saw that video. really interesting how they differ. does linex void any factory warranties. I kinda worry about that.

I have a feeling both duplicolor or rustoleum's clear bed coat are not so good. I really like the idea of color matching the Oxford white (if they can do that color) and throwing in the bed rubber mat. I'll get to keep the somewhat look of a fresh new bed with the added protection of liner. and the protection on the sides, up against the cab and tailgate. I have a feeling I have some time to decide. lol.

I ordered the factory bed liner even though my 18 bed liner looked faded. I don't trust them sanding my truck. I also had them throw in a rubber ford mat.

The Ford Spray-In liner is done onsite in another building. FP will confirm.
I ordered my 2022 Gen3 with Spray-In liner and on my dealers tracker it was completed in one day and sent to shipping the next.
