SPORT MODE SUCKS

I thinks what’s missing is a a Normal mode that hits all the gears. Without stretching out each gear or shifting hard, and without holding a gear when off the accelerator (like Tow mode).

The current Normal should be Eco mode.

Doesn't put truck in sport mode bc driving 35 mph @ 4k RPMs with hard shifts (when its ready) isn't a pleasurable experience

I love sport mode and gear holding turning those rear 35s to squeal and smoke is a beautiful thing without pushing the clutch.

Sport mod it to let this thing run hard...hence the redline and firm shifts...why would you unleash that mode in traffic is beyond me.
Most of the time I run Sport mode with manual shifts...that way I can short shift a bit...Can't speak for the OP as to firm shifts, but mine are firm but just what one would expect for a sport shift...

Always drive in Sport Mode, but...Baja Mode, click it back to 2WD, and Manual Shift if I feel like having fun.

I guess I am a brute, but other than keeping the revs high, I guess I don't feel like the shift is crazy or obnoxious... Feels quick and firm but not unforgivable.

I love it when it’s needed. I mainly cruise in normal. I don’t use sport unless I want to get on it or have some fun.
