Looks nice @JanT Do you use a tube notcher or just a grinder to fit the tubes together ?

I'm still not decided on going with round or square tubes...I need to receive that damn TIG machien first ffs...

Well I think I could do something pretty nice with square tubes, working on angles to obtain a fancy futuristic look lol, I hope this will turn better than our friend on facebook, but Sshhh don't tell him lol...

I'm a bit scared of loosing a ton of time notching everything to have a tight fit, but well it would be a good training, and one of my friend has a tube bender so we could give it a try...

Yet your design is cool and I'm now leaning to round tubes, damn you Jan lol !!!

Edit : also what diameter are you using @JanT ?

Yes that is the issue with squared one, it will not look good imo. Grinding **** maybe an 1-2 hours not longer. Most of my time went to walking from one end to another in my friends metal shop, man it is huge place and messy one. I was in one far corner making mine and running stuff from other end where i was cutting. Part that takes time is cutting all in right length and figuring all out. Even i had good plan what to do, there will come some small things that you want to change and that takes more time. I had today only two hours to do my rack and most of time went to figuring how to mount jack on that. Easiest part would be order jack with mounting plate from US but it would be here in March and that would be too late. I have now some sort of plan how to do it and i hope friend can laser cut me few pieces for it tomorrow. Lets hope i can get it moving again tomorrow.

Damn now I need a tube notcher lol !! One last question, how do you plan to fix the rack to the bed bolts ?

Those are not done yet on pic i posted and those are coming on end of tubes, only middle ones i have to cut to tubes. I'm still not 100% is it quick mount or do i take bed bolts away every time i use rack. I hate rattling parts so might try both lol. I posted one pic in post #13 but will probably use bolt to connecting those two parts.

Nice, I'm leaning on your way I think finally, your rack already looks good...Which diameter are you using ?
