Sooo, isn't there someone here who hates the 3.5 ecoboost???

And another thing @Ruger as of March 17 2015 (yea 8 years ago) ford had produced 5,000,000 (5 million) eco-boost engines (of all sizes).

That is just 5 years after the original 3.5 was released. So as far as Ford "betting the farm" it think it paid off.

I have to think 8 years later the total production is well past 10,000,000.

(I am trying to find production numbers for just the 3.5)

NO. I got the roofers business 2 years ago. He has about a dozen trucks. On this one we did a throttle body last year. Today it is in for no low beam head lights and an oxygen sensor. it is a 2014 so that is Gen 1 ecoboost. They Gen 1's seem a little more reliable in that they don't have cam phaser issues.
minor but i believe thats at least a 2015, 2014 still had the previous body style

You do realize the PowerBoost Hybrid you mention still uses the 3.5 Ecoboost. It's not getting abandoned. If anything the V8 is going away in favor of more EcoBoost and Hybrid/EV options.
No sir, I was not aware of that last night when I wrote my post here. It does not seem to be available today, either. On the Ford site, the information on the 3.5L PowerBoost reads, "Ford doesn't just make progress, it defines it. Available 3.5L PowerBoost full hybrid V6 engine. This groundbreaking engine pulls from the collective power of both gas and electric energy, because teamwork gets the job done. It's torture tested, Built Ford Tough, and features 430 hp and 570 ft-lbs of torque." No mention of turbos or EcoBoost technology.

The Edmunds review says, "Power outputs for the remaining engine lineup are unchanged, though Ford says it's going to drop the price for the optional PowerBoost hybrid to make it the same as the optional turbocharged 3.5-liter V6." Again, no mention of turbos and the implication is that the boost on the 3.5L PowerBoost comes from the hybrid electrical system, and the boost on the 3.5L EcoBoost is from the twin turbos.

If you would kindly provide a source that indicates that the 3.5L PowerBoost is actually a 3.5L EcoBoost plus a hybrid electrical system, I'd be very interested to read it.
The F150 power boost has been 3.5 ecoboost plus hybrid since production started in 2021.
