I've had good luck with 3.5 Ecos. I owned 2 1st gens and 2 2nd gen H.O and never had any issues with any of them.I have had far more issues with 3.5 ecoboost than I did with 3.8 GTR motor ....... but I did keep this one 6 years vs. 3 years
Very impressive considering the contentious water pump inside the timing cover etc. All in all great to see and re-assuring. I hope my 3.5 lasts this long.Another one, 2012. This one is in for timing chains, but dang almost 300,000 miles it is expected. View attachment 427123View attachment 427123View attachment 427125View attachment 427124
did you ever find a source to determine production numbers other than just the total trucks produced? I'm trying to locate the total number of 4wd versions for a project and I can't find anything useful. Thanks(I am trying to find production numbers for just the 3.5)
I love the 3.5TT. It’s been good in my two trucks, but is no one going to ask questions about the Chevelle in the background? I know you included it in the shot on purpose, so give us a nice video of it!So I decided this is where(and you if you have the info) I will post high mileage eco-boost engines.
1st is 2014 F150, used by a roofing company. So not treated kindly.
My customers may not appreciate anything that gives any indication of personal info so I will leave it at that.

Water pump inside the timing cover is only on the FWD drive version (Taurus, Explorer, Flex)(or FWD based platforms as with the turbo version AWD was standard in those platforms)Very impressive considering the contentious water pump inside the timing cover etc. All in all great to see and re-assuring. I hope my 3.5 lasts this long.
70 chevelle, 502 big block and a 250hp progressive shot of NOS.I love the 3.5TT. It’s been good in my two trucks, but is no one going to ask questions about the Chevelle in the background? I know you included it in the shot on purpose, so give us a nice video of it!
Nothing so far, but haven't put much time into it.did you ever find a source to determine production numbers other than just the total trucks produced? I'm trying to locate the total number of 4wd versions for a project and I can't find anything useful. Thanks
I'm sure the gubmint knows; they seem to know down to the nth degree everything they want, including what I flushed last.Nothing so far, but haven't put much time into it.
