So I decided this is where(and you if you have the info) I will post high mileage eco-boost engines.

1st is 2014 F150, used by a roofing company. So not treated kindly.

My customers may not appreciate anything that gives any indication of personal info so I will leave it at that.

I'd never buy an EB. Ford bet the farm on that technology and it appears that they are eventually going to abandon it. As announced in Bret Baier's Fox News "Special Report" interview with the Ford CEO, the new F-150 will be a hybrid with various options available. Interestingly, Baier asked if the CEO himself believed that EVs were the future. He dodged the question, and his answer had to do with what he thought the US government was trying to accomplish.

“We’re making hybrid more accessible to our customers, giving them the power of choice by offering it at the same price as the 3.5-liter EcoBoost. This is the latest example of Ford democratizing technology for all truck customers. We did it with EcoBoost engines and with high-strength, military-grade aluminum alloy bodies for greater capability, and now we’re doing it with PowerBoost Hybrid.”

You do realize the PowerBoost Hybrid you mention still uses the 3.5 Ecoboost. It's not getting abandoned. If anything the V8 is going away in favor of more EcoBoost and Hybrid/EV options.

NO. I got the roofers business 2 years ago. He has about a dozen trucks. On this one we did a throttle body last year. Today it is in for no low beam head lights and an oxygen sensor. it is a 2014 so that is Gen 1 ecoboost. They Gen 1's seem a little more reliable in that they don't have cam phaser issues.

You are re-fuxking-tarded, the 3.5 eco-boost has been around 14 years as of the 2024 model year. That is a good run for a modern engine. lets examine some others.
7.3 psd 1994-2003
5.4 2v 1996-2004
5.4 3V 2004-2011 in the F150, 2014 in the expedition.
6.2 2010-2022
6.0 psd 2003-2007
6.4 psd 2008-2010
351 Cleveland 1971-1973
Yamaha V6 SHO 1989-1995
3.4 V8 SHO 1996-1999
6.9/7.3 diesel 1983-1994

There have only been a couple of engines in Ford's line up that have longer life than the 3.5 ecoboost, 289/302/351 family and the 460 family, technically the 4.6/5.0/5.4/5.8 are the same family but there have dozens of variations, the 4.6 itself probably has the longest production run.
