REALLY sucks! Glad the didn't make off with it though. I'm using Jimmi Jammers and lock plug, from what I've read on Gen2 the door handle swap looks best (along with Jimmi Jammers), you could always run a short positive battery cable to the wheelwell if you ever had a dead battery and couldn't get in (I think Summit/Jegs sells a remote battery post with a cap).

But that doesn't help just busting a window to get in and steal it or ransack, or prevent idiots from doing a lot of damage trying to bypass whatever it is, alarm included (which most people just ignore or are in a building and can't hear it). I do like the GPS tracker idea but you better be ready to get tactical on their a$$es, and unfortunately in this day and age that means retaining a lawyer. Or owning a backhoe if you're rural enough heh.

You can definitely add a kill switch, I have one on mine (bonus points if your wife doesn't know where it is HAHAHAHA!). I'm not intimate with Gen2 but I guarantee it's doable one way or another, it's still an electrical system so all it takes is finding the right circuit...
