My first impressions on Monday were not that great but then how do you improve upon perfection. SVT did such a great job with our 2010-2014 that anything else is bound to be a little bit of a disappointment. The more I look at it and think about it though my initial thoughts have changed. It's hard not to be excited about the gen 2 if it has more horsepower and torque, bigger shocks, more suspension travel and a new and improved 4-wheel drive system. Am I excited about a v6? Absolutely not! Still hoping for a v8 option but if not, I'm just not going to let that ruin it for me when the truck overall off-road where it's meant to play may be better yet. Just glad there will be a gen 2 for a few more years. We could be bemoaning the fact that they didn't bring it back at all!

That is a little throwback to Ford tailgates of the past. Personally, I like it.

I like the interior, the 10 speed trany, bigger shocks with more travel, but the front grill has lost its edge it looks like a Toyota/dodge combo. The TTV6 may work out. I would jump in line to get a Gen 2 raptor with a TTV8 and a better looking front end/grill. The raptor when it first came out was awesome in how it looked the Gen2 does not give me the same feeling.

Im sure ford has someone scanning these forums already but that would still be a great idea.

Consensus is pretty much:
Needs a v8
Tailgate redesign or option for a non-trampstamp version
Grille redesign possibly?
Bring back the dual hood vents?
Thats what Im getting lately from this forum.

The dual exhaust needs to go. It looks like a dodge at least to me.
My thoughts are side exit or molded into the rear quarter panels
