Pics or it never happened....

Sorry Upscrazy. Not much for pics. My agency frowns on them besides. I think the only pic I have from my time in the desert down south was from 2003 when I was still a nugget. My FTO purposely got an old Ford Bronco stuck and high centered in the sand dunes. The exercise was to show how to dig it out and get yourself unstuck. Before I started extracting the vehicle, one of the FTO's took a pic of me and my fellow nuggets in front of the vehicle. I was able to get my hands on that pic. I will see if I can't dig it out of the garage.

I went the other way on this. I test drove 3 Raptors and have been looking at them since 2012. I was waiting to sell off my Super Duty then I was supposed to be in a Raptor.

I really got serious around May-June of this year and looked at 5-6 and test drove 3 of them, the ones with the lower mileage of course. My buddy also has a 14' Raptor with a Whipple and it's awesome btw...

On the last test drive, the dealer talked me into driving a FX4 with a EB and I was sold! I've always been a supercharged guy before and owned a couple of supercharged Mustangs, 03' Cobra with a KB, and a 01' Lightning.

The 3.5l turbo was nice power and I loved the way it pulled! I ended up buying a loaded 13' FX2 with 12k miles on it instead. I've added S&B intake, Afe exhaust, and the SCT tuner is on its way.

Again.....I will be getting one of the new Raptors with the EB 100%! For me the Raptor and EB are a match made in heaven. I can't wait!

I know this is a Raptor forum, but it's also my favorite forum even though I own a EB F150. I will be a Raptor owner soon, that's why I'm participating here.

I own a 2015 Ford Transit van (full size) with the 3.5 EcoBoost in it. I love the engine, the way it runs and fuel milage. Having the van set up at about the same weight as a 2017 Raptor would be, well I think I'll be keeping my supercharged V-8 2013 Raptor. I just don't see a 10 speed trany making that much difference. But I have not ruled out a 17 for a daily driver and the V-8 for when I need to feel bad assed.

LoL!

I also own a 2015 Ford Transit HD, but I chose a Powerstroke diesel over the EB even though the EB was way more fun to drive!

I chose the Powerstroke for the mpg and because they only offered the PS in dually when I bought mine. I haul a lot of weight in the van and I still get 19mpg in town and 21+ on the highway.

Love the EB, which is why I bought a EB F150 and hoping to be first in line for the EB Raptor....unless they make a Powerstroke Raptor of course lol!

I really like the interior, and the new truck does look good. But I don't think I will let my 12' go for one. Maybe seeing or driving them in person will change my mind but I don't think it is worth it to me at this point in time. I bet the MSRP will be quite high here in Canada as well.

I finally saw one (in person) a week ago. Ford had a tent set up at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh where they also had the GT350R and the Ford GT.

I have to say, I hated it when I saw pics of it, but when I saw it in person, I decided it would be my next vehicle. I had previously owned a 2012 but am now in an E92 M3. Fall 2016 cannot get here fast enough!

E92 M3 to a Raptor sounds like a very logical move :D

If I pick up a 2nd gen Raptor, I'll be trading in my E92 M3 too.
