I ******* about the price of Diesel every friggin minute and when she was around I was trolling FRF (& the Z, I know but I didn't know better (I'm still there)), and building my Raptor on Ford.com and then when one showed up at the local dealership I convinced her to go look at it. Once the test drive was done she asked me, are you going to buy it? And look at her I said, not this one, but I'm going to ordered one. All she said, I knew it was coming. I Love My Wife. I just hope she loves me when the ADD Venom Bumpers show up next month.

Thank God I paid up the Hunting Club Dues for this year, so I have a place to stay until she simmers down. Did I tell you guys? She can get mean in a heartbeat!

My "payment" so to speak was along the same lines as yours. New windows in the Master Bedroom and Study, along with one of those fancy, fully automated, TOTO toilet seats. Somehow that list grew to include a new Dinning Room light fixture and a new, double drawer, dishwasher.

Say what you want about the TOTO toilet seat but I've come to really appreciate that dang thing. So, in my mind I got off pretty easy.

Took her to the dealership and compared my 42000 purchase price to that of a partially loaded fx4 of 41800 sticker. Just did an apples to apples comparison and she was ok with it. Resale value higher holding better than the basic f150 was the icing on the cake for her.
