So, if you add the TPMS sensor to the spare, does the truck pick it up when you change the tire? Does the truck get confused because there are 5 sensors instead of 4? Inquiring minds want to know...

adding a tpms sensor to your spare doesn't negatively affect the truck at all. It may take up to 50 miles for the truck to pick up the new sensor ( unless you have a reset tool with you).


and you guys actually balance your tires? is this the " princess and the pea" section of the forum?

my idea of "balancing" is doing a burnout to get the flat spots out of my tires.
