No, honestly, you’re a worthless troll who contributes nothing to this site but sowing of discord and trolling. Navel lint has more value than you do.

Funny thing is if he worked as hard as he trolls, he'd actually be able to afford a Raptor. Life choices.

Why the gas over the powerstroke? I had a 2015 (?) F-250 (what ever year was the last one with the old body style) with the power stroke engine and I was extremely impressed with it. It had tons of pull. I never had issues with it, but I only kept it for a year or so. I just did not like the length of the truck since I work in downtown Houston, and I did not pull enough to need it. FWIW gas engines on super duties lose a ton in resale relative to Diesels at least here in the South.

The newer powerstroke also has issues. I think the only current engine Ford has without issue is the 6.2. from a longevity perspective, I chose that over resale.

You should choose to go troll the power stroke forums. They will love you.

I think your understanding of failure rates is lacking. Reports on issues on forums should be taken in stride. My current truck is my 4th EB engine, and I have had one powerstroke engine and I have never had an issue. And second to that there is warranty that will take care of the small amount of people with issues. There is no way that I would ever look at a very under powered (relatively) 6.2L engine in a super duty truck when the Powerstroke engine is available to me. If it were to have an issue, that's what the warranty is for. Same thing with an EB engine, why would I take the 5.0L when the EB is just an much better performing engine. I don't care that a few people have had issues as all engines have had issues. I just choose to get the one that preforms the best, and let warranty take care of any other issues.

FWIW the only engine I have had issues with was the 5.3L GM V8 in my Avalanche I had. It was smoking and I had to get the valves replaced, but it was covered under warranty.

I guess my point was on a new vehicle, I don't trust anything that Ford is offering. Oil consumption is a big deal, and if everything they offer in a truck has the issue, I won't buy. The only truck engine not mentioned for problems was the 6.2.

Oil consumption is only a “problem” if its extreme and/or if you continue driving your vehicle & aren’t aware of it.

So what do you trust besides a 10 year old 6.2 Ford engine

And yet you continue to buy them....

Well, allegedly, anyway.
