What mods does PCI do to them. I was looking at getting a Kenwood and was debating on a HAM unit or getting a used and tested public radio and programming it.

And Back to my earlier post. Who has a list of the Freq Channels that should be programmed into the radios?

Channel Frequency Name
153.380 M7MAIN Mag 7 Primary
150.830 M7SEC Mag 7 Secondary
158.655 PROPTS Pro Pits
151.775 LOCOSM Locos Mocos
150.860 FAIR Fair checker
154.980 BAJAPT Baja Pits
151.925 CORE Core CHECKER
151.625 W-MAN Weatherman
154.515 PCI PCI
151.715 BFGRLY BFG Relay
153.395 BFGPIT BFG Main
155.160 SAR Search & Rescue
151.490 BITD Best in the Desert
151.955 HONDA Honda
153.140 PROTRK Pro Truck Main
152.570 WIDEOB Wide Open Baja
152.915 MCMIL McMillian
152.960 LSCAMP Los Campeones
151.820 SNOW1
151.88 SNOW2
151.940 SNOW3
152.000 TRR1
152.750 TRR2
153.035 TACTCL
151.00 GORDON

PCI does a prep for race like conditions and wires it for an intercom, both well worth the money in my opinion. PCI also programs the frequencies they recommend plus the ones you want. Make sure to tell them to include the TRR and Snoball ones as they're the only ones you'll need for this.

I have a Icom F5021 50w Chase radio that I used on 2 snoball runs that I am looking to sell. It has all the PCI race, Snoball, & TRR channels. Like new condition only mounted in truck for the runs. It comes with a cigarette lighter power cord and a mag mount antenna. These sell for $399.00 new and I would like to get $250.00 shipped to lower 48.
