yeah i know my group talked about having a central hotel, with maybe a later start each morning and earlier finish, so people can congregate at the bar n such and tell war stories of the day. i like this idea. but a repeat of this years, and im still down, and i know my passangers are too.

I really liked the route, the stops, and the whole deal came off smooth as silk for the first go around. Some folks, that were behind us, seemed alittle unsettled that there were delays...I suggested that their group move on by ours and that seemed to make them happy. Delays are just part of a large group run and I had the feeling they had not spent all night in the desert helping a brother with an upside down Raptor get it out and headed home...now that's a delay! Lol. The event was a blast, would sign up for next year in a heartbeat. Other than having an indoor parking spot big enough for the whole group so we could have a real social and hang and check out rigs....it was perfect. That really was the only thing missing compared to runs I have done out west...the amount of chit chat was limited to three trucks fore or aft of any given location given the minus temps. LOL You will book out again next year I am sure. Thanks for all your efforts and a great event!....maybe you should get some crew to shoot vid and photos and just let us all roll by...move them from point to point along the route and provide a download point for everyone to access....less troublesome than creating photo ops for the trucks in the run I would think. Something to think about.

Don't get me wrong on my suggestions, I'd be overly content doing this year all over again. Was just throwing out ideas

This upsets me... how the heck do you take us pulling in front of your group as evidence that we wouldnt stop to help a fellow raptor brother? In fact we stopped for a good 20 Minutes with Wordtour and were happy to do so! Our group which was supposed to be in the lead, was scattered among the other groups and we were trying to gather our members. We ran hard to do this and passed everyone but WSI's group, couldnt catch those crazy kids... while were at it lets be honest about a couple things, the delay you mention was a car being pulled from a ditch, which already had plenty of support and we could not have assisted in. Also you never suggested that we pass, we told you that we were passing and then discussed it with your group lead. Didn't you feel alot lighter when our members jumped out of your group. So easy on the tall tales there buddy.

Wifey is correct. We slowed and via comma offered assistance with the car, it was under control and more help wouldn't of done any good. And for world tour it was a lot longer than 20 minutes. More like an hour before mark told us to roll on before the Sherif showed up. After we pulled all the gear from his truck and put it in one if ours.

Sorry my comment upset you. I was not saying that anybody would not help someone...geez..I just got the impression that the person I was talking too was impatient with what I did not think was a really long delay. I did in fact tell the person that I was talking to that they could pass our group. I was the temp. chase for our group at the moment as some of our guys were still back on the trail helping another situation. and yes, you guys did go up and talk to Bird o Pry to see if it was cool. The car went into the ditch after the delay period started, we had been lined up for awhile at that point. I really didn't care who was with what group and was just having a good time being there. and that's not a tall tale either...and my name is Grant. :)
