I’m thinking of adding a single tire carrier in the bed of the truck. I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with running a single tire on one side? I want to maintain as much bed space as possible so my plan is to have it upright on the drivers side. I know it’s not a huge amount of weight but will it affect driving or balance having the spare plus a carrier on one side?

Ive got a vertical chase rack with a single spare on the driver's side. No balance issues what so ever. Bed is small anyway so there isn't a ton of space to begin with but there is still a fair amount of usable space with the single vertical.

Which single wheel carrier do you have? I'd like to mount it on the passenger side to offset the gas tank

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns
