It’s capitalism and is like paying above asking on a house. There’s lots of that.

But I get the MSRP too. Best way is don’t shop there but there will be those who do.

agreed and I'm a capitalist. I'm probably making assumptions but I feel like they are trying to screw the OG buyer and thats bad business. Hence why I'm posting it

Short sided dealers trying to get their pound of flesh any way they can. Thankfully the ford CEO is going to put these crooks out of business in the next few years with flat non negotiable pricing. I ordered a lightning last year. Truck arrived while I was away in Europe. Got home Monday and told the dealer I would come by to drive which I did yesterday. Turns out ford dropped invoice nearly $9000 which the dealer has to honor.

Yeah, I saw the interview with the Ford CEO. I don't see why it would be difficult for Ford to do. I ordered my bronco online directly from Ford very early on. The dealer just took delivery of it and had me sign papers. Paid exactly what Ford quoted when ordered online plus tax, tag, etc. It was a great experience.

I don't understand. It says if the original buyer backs out, they'll auction it. Who's getting screwed, exactly?

Same here, I ordered my sports car online, was deivered to dealer 6 months later. You should have seen the look on their faces, they were NOT happy. I never went to that dealer again.

This truck was probably ordered a year ago and that was before dealers were marking trucks up $50k. Like I said, I'm making assumptions but I bet when that truck finally arrived they told the original buyer he had to cough up an extra $50k or let it go. That's when the original buyer would back out.

This is a bad deal the ADM won’t go away because when it does there is a SCUM sorta Consumer who buys and resales it for the ADM profit. Taxes helps in lots of states WA is 10% ish.

Many of those saying and bragging about only paying MSRP for an R got their deal. Magically 3 months later truck for sale for the ADM a dealer can make. I see a Ford GT solution that requires a 2 year ownership prior to reselling.

Dealers were bad, post COVID the sales and service is considerably worse, that probably won’t ever get better. No one wants to work and people have never wanted to work in car business. It is sorta like telling people your a pimp or politician :p:p:p
