Same here, I ordered my sports car online, was deivered to dealer 6 months later. You should have seen the look on their faces, they were NOT happy. I never went to that dealer again.Yeah, I saw the interview with the Ford CEO. I don't see why it would be difficult for Ford to do. I ordered my bronco online directly from Ford very early on. The dealer just took delivery of it and had me sign papers. Paid exactly what Ford quoted when ordered online plus tax,tag,etc. It was a great experience.
This truck was probably ordered a year ago and that was before dealers were marking trucks up $50k. Like I said, I'm making assumptions but I bet when that truck finally arrived they told the original buyer he had to cough up an extra $50k or let it go. That's when the original buyer would back out.I don't understand. It says if the original buyer backs out, they'll auction it. Who's getting screwed, exactly?
