I called Ford and had a lady give me a case number. (I don't say this to be ugly) She just doesn't have any ability to do anything. I only have the 800 number that gets you to customer service. I have spoke to her each week. You can even tell that she is out of stuff to say at this point.

That kind of mirrors my experience with CS. Nice, but not effective.

This morning I read the owners manual and it said I had to go thru the BBB and fill out the online form to get some kind of complaint package emailed to me. I do have an attorney that told me to get the process started I needed to follow the process in the owners manual. He said he would step in next and help me once I got the complaint put in.

As far as the lemon law.... I don't think it would affect me because of the mileage of the truck. However, the warranty is good for 125,000 miles.

The lemon law may or may not be any sort of option. You’d need to check with an attorney that deals specifically with that in your state. The thing is these issues emerged a lot earlier than 125k miles correct? It’s been an ongoing issue, apparently over a long period of time. The amount of modifications, if any, could factor in as well. But you won’t know until you make a couple phone calls.

Might be worth to at least check and see if something can be done. Even if a buy back is out of the realm of possibility, at this stage, maybe just contacting an attorney and having him speak with a Ford representative could mean the difference between getting it fixed or continue getting ****** around.

Damn. Just reading this makes ya sick to your stomach. I've never heard of so many issues with a vehicle, especially how well you have taken care of and treated it. Sorry you have to deal with this disaster!

My raptor has never had anything but a few fog lights installed... It has had Mobil 1 every 7500 miles and it has a K&N air filter that gets cleaned and re-oiled every time I change the oil.

I don't have time to really mod it. I have another toy that gets all the modifications. ...

Man, that’s not a service history, that’s a novel and unfortunately it’s a tragedy.

So, you are outside the period of the factory warranty, so a lemon law won’t help you. Also, legally, Ford is repairing everything, so it’s going to be hard to do anything with a lawyer besides spend money.

If this is the purchasing stealership, I’d strongly consider asking them to cut you a deal on a trade in. A legit deal, not a deal they would offer to some schlub off the street. Offer to trade it on a ’21, which you will expect to be under MSRP by a significant amount and your trade will be for a pristine condition Rap.

I don’t think Ford C/S will be of much help here. Even if they were to offer you a buy back, it’s several model years old and what you get for it won’t be as good as I suspect your stealership would offer on a trade. I may be wrong, so don’t discount this as a possibility, but don’t rely on it either.

Your post is pretty level headed, if you can negotiate this way, then you stand the best chance of righting the ship here. I know it’s a PITA, I’ve been through similar, but I’d start expressing a willingness to upgrade under the right, favorable to you conditions. The truck will have all manner of new driveline components and still under ext. warranty.

There is zero excuse for the dealer to have the truck out of service for 5 months. That is extremely poor customer service on the part of the dealer. Ford does not "refuse to send parts" to anyone; they're either available or they're not (backorder). If the dealer makes a transmission repair and the same concern is present afterward, they misdiagnosed it or repaired it incorrectly. If it was properly repaired the first time it would not have failed 30K miles later. It is not Ford corporate's responsibility to come and resolve their workmanship issues. If they are incapable of repairing the transmission, they should have replaced the entire assembly on their dime. I'd also be curious as to which transmission flush machine they used; there is only one warranty compliant unit, and it's not cheap.

As far as turbocharger leaks and axle seals, those are by no means common issues. The oil pan leak has nothing to do with it having a plastic pan; it was an RTV adhesion issue that has since been resolved with a new sealing procedure.

If you've had good luck with past Ford vehicles, I'm not sure why you'd bash the company to everyone due to workmanship issues at your dealer. Don't buy into their BS line that "Ford won't help them" or "Ford won't ship them parts", that is their way of passing their incompetence on to corporate. Hold them accountable for their workmanship.

Its not my first issue with Ford. Its my most irritating issue with Ford....

My 2013 Ford 150 Ecoboost Platinum had the engine to go out under warranty. I was passing thru Scottsboro AL and the engine just started missing. I could barely feel it. I pulled over and restarted it and I was a dead misfire. I pulled into the Ford dealer and they gave me a King Ranch to drive and I left it there. They called me the next week and said a fuel injector on cylinder 4 stopped working and washed the cylinder down. (Word for word what they said) . I didn't argue because they had a new long block delivered the next week and I had the truck back the week after that. That same truck had 3 throttle position sensors to go bad also.

As far as bashing Ford. I consider the dealer a direct extention of Ford Motor Company. The service tech, the dealership and the manufacturer are all the same to me.
